Dr. Mark Anderson
Professor, Diabetes Center and Department of Medicine, UCSF
Dr. Anderson is a Professor in the UCSF Diabetes Center and Department of Medicine. He also serves as research director of the UCSF Diabetes Center and as Director of the UCSF Medical Scientist Training Program. He has extensive experience in the genetic factors that control immune tolerance and autoimmunity with a particular focus on T cells and the thymus. Dr. Anderson will help oversee work involving extreme genetic forms of T1D.
